Songs, laughs and scary fun abound as a witch and cat fly happily on their broomstick -- until the witch loses her hat, bow and wand. New friends help her recover them and hop aboard for a ride, but the broomstick can't carry them all. It breaks, endangering the witch when a hungry dragon appears. Can the witch's friends save her? Enjoy bewitching magic and discover the value of friendship!

This haunting and highly theatrical staging of three of Poe's best works "The Raven," "The Fall of the House of Usher" and "The Tell-Tale Heart" will have your heart thumping and your spine tingling. As the drama begins, Poe tries desperately to convince himself that he is not mad.

ABT II is a professional classical ballet company of astonishing talent and tremendous youthful energy. This troupe features much of the same repertoire as the larger American Ballet Theatre. Although rooted in classical ballet, ABT II’s repertoire also includes contemporary works and showcases premieres of both emerging and established choreographers and composers.   • Payment or a Purchase Order is due no later than 30 days in advance with final count.
  • All reservations not paid by the 30-day deadline will be cancelled and seats will be released for purchase by other schools.
  • Purchase Order payments must be received no later than 30 days after the event.
  • Lack of timely payment will result in termination of Purchase Order privileges.

Confirmations and Invoices
  • An email confirmation of receipt of a reservation will be sent to the teacher who placed the order and the school bookkeeper within 10 working days of receipt of the reservation.
  • An email invoice will be sent 90 days prior to the performance or artist visit to the teacher who placed the order and to the school bookkeeper. An email confirmation will be sent when payment is received.
  • Hard copy invoices will be sent for all unpaid reservations 60 days in advance of the performance or artist visit.
  • Specific show information and a link to study guides will be emailed 60 days prior to each show for each paid order.
Cancellations / Changes
  • No refunds or exchanges will be made after the 30-day deadline. There are no refunds for unused admissions on the day of the performance.
  • The teacher making the reservation is the contact person and is responsible for assuring that payment is made by the deadline. He/She is also responsible for accurately reporting
    the final count of admissions needed by that date. We cannot accept the lowering of numbers after the 30-day deadline.
  • Please be aware that we cannot guarantee seating for additional students if the show is sold out, although we will make every effort to accommodate additional attendees when space permits. It is also important to remember to reserve seating for all teachers and chaperones as well as students. Every attendee must reserve a seat.

New Audience Development and Transportation Grants
If you would like for your students to attend a performance but are having trouble funding the trip, you may apply for a grant from The Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute.Please allow 15 business days for processing.

If you are granted transportation reimbursement, you must provide proof payment to recieve your reimbursement. Proof of payment examples: check stub to Pinellas County Transportation, check copy or remittance sheet that shows amount paid, location and date of transportation.

Seating and Accessibility Needs
  • All seating will be assigned by the Institute. Seating assignments are based on several factors: when the reservation was made, age of groups attending and accessibility needs. Ushers will escort the group to their seats.
  • Actual tickets are not issued.
  • Children under the age of 3 years will not be permitted to attend. Teachers: Please be sure chaperones and drivers are aware of this policy.
  • All of Ruth Eckerd Hall's venues are wheelchair accessible. Assisted listening accommodations are also available. Please inform us of any special needs or requests when placing your reservation, so we can make arrangements prior to your arrival.
