What is PASSport to the ARTS?
PASSPORT to the ARTS is an Arts Infusion Learning Model
Piloted in May 2001, the PASSport to the ARTS program is a model for school arts infusion.
PASSport to the ARTS program is based on the premise that all children benefit from an approach to learning, as well as a learning environment, which embodies the creative process and the nurturing of the imagination. PASSport is a school based program which brings together classroom teachers, arts educators, teaching artists, and administrators for one common goal; the development of “Empowered Learners”.
The Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute at Ruth Eckerd Hall partners with area elementary schools whose demographic and/or student population are considered underserved, are facing demographic and economic challenges yet demonstrate a desire to ensure arts programming for their student population.
