“The actors and actresses did a phenomenal job. It was amazing how they were able to tell the history of our nation so clearly, yet succinctly. It would be extremely difficult to walk away from this performance untouched. We absolutely loved it!!”

Aesop Fables

Thank you Aesop’s Fables
You guys were great.  You guys made me laugh so so hard.  You guys make a great team.  Your stories are awesome.  You guys should perform all over the world, at every school.  Thank you so so so much.  You guys were the best story tellers in the whole world.  I listened the most.  Thank you guys very much.

Battledrum

“This was simply an excellent presentation.  The actors were in the moment and believable as people struggling with the horrors of the Civil War.  The setting and sound complimented the plot perfectly.  Use of song with dialogue offered the perfect balance in communicating this historically based play.  My 7th grade students read author Ray Bradbury’s “Drummer Boy of Shiloh” and their reviews were lukewarm, at best.  After seeing Battledrum they reread this short story and their observations were more insightful and even positive!!  Congrats on a truly fine show!”

Nightfall with Edgar Allan Poe

“I want to take the opportunity to thank your company for the performances that took place at our Heritage Theatre Oct 20th-21st, 2003.  The schools are raving about the performances. The actors were wonderful and all the theatre staff was impressed with their professionalism and kindness.
Also, the company was eager and willing to perform a workshop at a local school.  The school, St. Joseph School, totally enjoyed the workshop.  I was amazed to see such a group of grade 7 & 8’s so keen on participating in a workshop. "

Stone Soup & Dragon Dumplings

“We are thrilled to have found such a 1st class company to add to our school performance series.  We have had several great experiences with ETC and will continue to book with you.  Dee has been extremely helpful and professional to work with.  Teachers, volunteers and our technical staff asked me to look them again.  They were happy to hear that we have 2 shows scheduled for 04-05.  The interaction that the actors have with the kids is very much noticed and appreciated.  Great job!”

The Hundred Dresses

“Dear Ruth Eckerd Hall Theater Company,
I really liked your play 100 Dresses.  It was so awesome.  The raw bacon trick really worked.  Because in the evening I went fishing and I tried it and I caught a 12 inch fish.  The play really taught me a lesson, not to judge people how they look or talk.  Wanda was really talented from show pitch that ball, she drew those picture, how she knew the raw bacon trick, really worked.  The play really meant a lot to me and my classmates.  It was really funny.

“The show was perfect!  The acting, sound system, costumes, everything!!  The message in the 100 Dresses was beautifully delivered to our students… about the subtlety of bullying and how hurtful it can be.  Outstanding job!”

Woodland Tales (theatre in the round)

“The child in me enjoyed; the academic teacher in me enjoyed; the drama teacher in me was in awe. This was soooo what these kids needed especially.  Many have seen Broadway.  They need to see what the actor’s body, face and voice can do in collaboration with the audience’s imagination.  In my discussions with them about the show many remembered “how the turtle tucked his head in his shell”, or how “the eagle spread his wings”.  I have no doubt that they were actually seeing the turtle’s shell and the eagle’s wings. I was also impressed with the level of questions they asked.  I think they were mentally turned on by the use of their own mental faculties used to participate in the stories’ creation.”

The Little Moon Theater

“I thought it was a fantastic play to watch.  I learned that when you make somebody’s dreams come true it makes you and that person feel happy.  I feel so good about myself because I watched your play.  I learned a lot.”

Seacrest School, Naples, FL
