Presentation Training ~ Peggy Sheffield

Public speaking can be stressful. Verbally communicating ideas in general can be a challenge. At best we often walk away wondering what we could have done to have been more effective, to have made the most of the opportunity. Some feel they need to create a strong stage persona to be effective, others don’t feel they need to do much of anything beyond sharing the information before them. If you’ve ever been an audience to either you already know neither approach works as intended. They don’t fully engage or inform us, even if the information itself is something of great interest. Why? What works in a conference room with 3 people will not produce the same results in a larger venue, particularly if that venue includes screens and close-ups. Making the most of a presenter’s individual strengths and identifying their weaknesses is imperative to truly becoming an engaging and effective speaker, whatever the size of the room or audience.
Goals of workshop:
· Improve body language
· Ease nerves
· Utilize voice, breath, and speech fundamentals
· Reading an audience, making adjustments
· Personal appearance for optimal impact
· Video-taped training sessions

Whether it’s on stage or in a boardroom, Presentation Training will work with individuals or groups to build strong communication skills which will effectively convey your message. We’ll optimize your presentation, and work with you to customize an appropriate training session to achieve your specific goals.
